USA Archery Coach Certification Class
BASIC INSTRUCTOR
Audience: Camp instructors, Girl/Boy Scouts, 4-H etc.
Purpose: Introduce how to teach archery to a new instructor, most likely never shot before. Course focuses on safety, range set-up, basic equipment setup and repair and teaching the basic steps of shooting.
Length of Course: 8-12 hours
Prerequisite: minimum age: 15
Administration: USA Archery
Purpose: Introduce basic shooting steps, safety, range set-up; equipment setup and repair, fitting equipment to an archer, how to teach archery and how to teach a Basic Instructor Course.
Length of Course: 16-20 hours

INTERMEDIATE INSTRUCTOR
Audience: Instructors with little or no archery experience who will be working in a more established archery program i.e. JOAD, ASAP, Parks/Recreation, College Archery Program.Purpose: Introduce basic shooting steps, safety, range set-up; equipment setup and repair, fitting equipment to an archer, how to teach archery and how to teach a Basic Instructor Course.
Length of Course: 16-20 hours

- minimum age: 18;
- USAA membership
