Easton JOAD Nationals / National Target Championships / JOAD Camps

The registration is now open for Easton JOAD Nationals / National Target Championships, which is at the end of June.

It is one of the seven national tournaments that account for national ranking.

Visit the following link and click "128th National Target Championships - Easton JOAD Nationals" to either download the paper registration form or complete the online application form: http://www2.teamusa.org/USA-Archery/Events.aspx?event=&from=&to=&page=2

If you are planning to compete and have not yet arranged transportation/hotels, you should hurry before plane ticket prices soar and hotel spaces run out.

It is the largest national outdoor competition of the year.

Also, for those of you who want to experience intense training, JOAD Camp is a great opportunity for you.

For four days, you will have the chance to train under an Elite coaching staff and to assimilate the NTS.

Finally, just a reminder for this Saturday to bring equipment that you would like to sell.

We will hold an equipment exchange/buy/sell.

Be sure to practice, especially since Cotton Boll is just around the corner! (whether you are competing, keep practicing!)

And even when you practice, make sure you practice properly because as Coach Eric often tells us, "Practice doesn't make perfect. PERFECT practice makes perfect."

See you this Saturday!

Announcements: May Parents' Meeting & Equipment Exchange & Congratulations

On the first week of May, we will hold a monthly parents meeting at El Dorado Park.

For those of you who have equipment to sell or exchange, this is the chance to do so, if you wish.

Also, please congratulate Stephanie, Jenna, and Sean, for their great performance at Florida Gator Cup, a national tournament, last weekend.

In cadet women's division, Jenna came in 1st and Stephanie came in 2nd.

Sean placed 3rd in cadet men's division.

For those of you attending Cotton Boll Classic in May, make sure to practice diligently!

It is only 3 weeks away and quickly approaching!

If you have not already signed up for the tournament and would like to compete, sign up at calarchery.net, and be sure to make a reservation for a hotel in Tulare, CA, the location of the competition.
