Welcome to Joy Lee Archery Academy

Archery is a sport that is becoming immensely popular throughout the world today. Its popularity has increased through Hollywood blockbusters such as Hunger Games and Lord of the Rings. Characters such as Hawkeye from Avengers and Darly of Walking Dead are also contributing to the recent insurgence in recognition.

Learning archery is recommended to improve character control, concentration and or for the pure enjoyment of a competitive Olympic sport. For the youth archers, this experience will be valuable for personal growth but also for college preparation.  Due to limited access to youth archery academies in U.S., the field is relatively less vigorous in competitions and the path to State and National rankings can be achieved with proper guidance by JLAA coaching staff along with archers’ dedications and hard work.

Furthermore, the tension and sensation you feel when you pull the bow and to release the arrow to the target are addicting and unforgettable. Archery can be taught and experienced in both group and individual settings. It provides inner peace and calm for most but also adrenaline pumping excitement for others.

Coaching certification can also be achieved from the age of 15 by attending one of our coaching certification classes provided by Team USA head coach, Kisik Lee and his staff,  certified by USA Archery. Exclusive private lessons can be arranged for intermediate and tournament ready archers with Team USA head coach, Kisik Lee as an added benefit for joining JLAA.
